Biography

Victor Vaguine, Ph.D., is an independent scientist and philosopher.
He is the sole founder of Aphysical Quantum Mechanics, a deeper quantum theory, marking the origin of the Second Quantum Revolution.
He was born and educated in Russia (former USSR). He earned his master’s degree in Radiophysics (Electromagnetism) from the Gorki State University, Russia in 1959.
From 1966 to 1971, he participated in the joint CERN-USSR program for the development of equipment for high-energy physics experiments at CERN in Geneva, Switzerland.
In 1970, while at CERN, he received a PhD (Docteur d'État) in Physics from the University of Paris, Orsay, France. He is believed to be the only Soviet scientist to have received a physics doctoral degree in a Western country during the Cold War. In February 1971, he and his family defected to the USA.
After arriving in the United States, he accepted a scientist position at Varian Corporation, Palo Alto, California, an established high-technology company specializing in radiation therapy equipment. A few years later, he was promoted to manager of a research and engineering division. He eventually left his secure position at Varian to take an active role in startup medical instrumentation companies.
As an inventor and co-inventor, Vaguine holds 22 patents, both in the United States and internationally. He has published numerous scientific papers and collaborated with several universities.
Since 2008, he has focused his scientific efforts on foundational issues of quantum mechanics, developing Aphysical Quantum Mechanics, a deeper quantum theory, thus fulfilling Einstein’s dream.
Aphysical Quantum Mechanics is the origin of the Second Quantum Revolution, bringing an immediate foundational transformation of quantum mechanics, quantum optics, and elementary particle physics. He has published his scientific work in a multi-volume set under the title “The Second Quantum Revolution”.
Dr. Vaguine resides in Dallas, Texas, with his wife.
